No. The Raydium Desktop App never stores, transmits, or has access to your seed phrase or private keys. All signing happens locally through your connected Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Ledger, etc.). Your keys never leave your device.
Standard AMM pools use a constant-product formula where liquidity is spread across the entire price range. Concentrated Liquidity (CLMM) pools allow liquidity providers to focus their capital within specific price ranges, earning higher fees per dollar deployed. The desktop app makes it easy to manage both pool types from a single dashboard.
Raydium's AMM pools are connected to OpenBook's on-chain central limit order book. This means liquidity from Raydium's pools is accessible to OpenBook traders, and vice versa. The result is deeper liquidity, tighter spreads, and better price execution for all participants.
The desktop app supports all major Solana wallets including Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and hardware wallets like Ledger (Nano S, Nano X, Nano S Plus, Stax). The native desktop connection provides more stable hardware wallet connectivity than browser-based alternatives.

The app requires Windows 10 or later, or macOS 12 (Monterey) or later. It needs approximately 200MB of disk space and 4GB of RAM. An internet connection is required for blockchain interactions and real-time price data.
